Michelle McKoy MSc., CHW

Founder of Yes To Fertility and the Florida Fertility Expo | Fertility Navigator | Infertility Awareness Advocate

Yes To Fertility exists because fertility should not be something people learn about only after a diagnosis.

“Michelle does not replace medical professionals. She helps people understand the system, prepare for conversations, identify questions and navigate available resources.”

Founder Story

Michelle McKoy’s work in fertility advocacy was born from personal experience.

After being diagnosed with endometriosis and chronic pelvic pain, Michelle spent approximately two decades navigating the physical, emotional and informational challenges associated with reproductive health. Her journey exposed her to the complexity of fertility care—from diagnosis and lifestyle changes to integrative approaches and assisted reproductive technology.

But her experience also revealed something larger.

Women around her were quietly experiencing their own fertility challenges: endometriosis, fibroids, PCOS, cancer-related fertility concerns, miscarriage, secondary infertility, unexplained infertility and difficult decisions surrounding egg freezing, donor conception, IVF, surrogacy, adoption and other family-building pathways.

The conversations were happening privately. The information was fragmented. And too many people did not know what questions to ask or where to turn.

Michelle decided that fertility conversations needed to move out of the shadows.

That vision led to the creation of the Florida Fertility Expo and ultimately the broader mission of Yes To Fertility—to provide accessible fertility education, navigation, community connection and resources so individuals can make more informed decisions about their reproductive futures.

The Florida Fertility Expo was founded by Michelle in 2017 and has evolved into a platform connecting individuals and families with fertility specialists, clinicians, integrative practitioners, nonprofits, legal professionals, maternal-health advocates and FemTech innovators.

Michelle’s own path to motherhood—including ultimately becoming a mother after years of navigating reproductive challenges—became the catalyst for a larger purpose: helping other people navigate fertility before they feel lost, overwhelmed or alone.
